Mental Health First Aid Accreditation

This course has been adapted from the existing face-to-face Standard Mental Health First Aid Course. After completing both Blended Online Course Components, you will be eligible to complete the assessment for accreditation to become an Accredited MHFAider which is valid for 3 years.

When will the email link arrive so I can complete the assessment and feedback?

The assessment link will be sent to the email you supplied the Instructor. The email is sent three days after you have completed the second component of the course (Instructor-led component). The assessment and feedback link are in the same email. Please note, you should use the same email to register and complete both the eLearning and Instructor-led components. If you don’t receive the email containing the link to the feedback and exam please contact your Instructor to check and confirm your email address.

When will I receive my certificate?

You will receive a Certificate of Accreditation when you pass the online Accreditation Assessment. You are eligible to complete the online Accreditation Assessment once you have completed both course component, Course Component 1 – eLearning (6-8 hours) and Course Component 2 – Instructor-led videoconferencing (2 x 2.5 hr sessions). Three days after completing both the Instructor-led component you will receive an email (to the email address you supplied to the Instructor), containing a link to the online Accreditation Assessment and also to provide course feedback. Please note, you should use the same email to register and complete both the eLearning and Instructor-led components. If you don’t receive the email containing the link to the feedback and exam please contact your Instructor to check and confirm your email address. 

How can I re-accredit after 3 years?

Our team of instructors offer Standard refresher courses using video conferencing technology. Face to Face Refresher courses are running and will continue to be scheduled in some locations where permitted. Just get in touch with HR to organise a course.
