Nicole Turner

Nicole is an experienced Principal Master Instructor and delivers a suite of MHFA programs, including Standard, Youth, Workplace and teen MHFA. Previous Victorian government clients include Victoria Police, Department of Health and Human Services, Development Victoria, Victorian Ombudsman and Worksafe Victoria.  Other clients include Twinings Australia, Metro Trains, Lord Somers Camp & Powerhouse, Camberwell Grammar and Maroondah and Frankston City Councils.  She is a sessional trainer with GenU Training/Karingal St Laurence and Workplace Interventions. She is a confident online facilitator and has delivered the Blended Online MHFA Workplace since May 2020. She also has recent experience as an online tutor and subject coordinator with the University of Melbourne.

In addition to MHFA, Nicole is a consultant currently working with the Nossal Institute for Global Health, University of Melbourne in the broad fields of international development, public health and education. She has over 25 years experience with Victoria Police in the areas of gender based violence and mental health and coordinated the Victoria Police Mental Health First Aid program for a number of years. She has completed tertiary studies in psychology (BA, Psych) and education (MA Ed) and has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
